Mental Health For Every Season Of Life.

Hi, I’m Kendall!

I'm a professional art therapist, passionate about using creativity to support mental health and well-being. As a cat mom and someone with three siblings, I value connection, growth, and personal expression. My journey into art therapy was shaped by my own experiences in the mental health system, where I felt the need for more diverse and effective treatment options. It was through painting as a hobby that I discovered the power of creative expression to improve mental health, and I was inspired to combine my passion for psychology with the healing potential of art.

When I'm not working with clients, you can find me running, painting, or getting lost in a good book. I'm here to support you on your healing journey, no matter how you choose to express yourself!

WHY ART THERAPY?

Art therapy is a unique and powerful approach that uses artistic expression to help individuals explore their emotions, process trauma, and navigate mental health challenges. It’s especially beneficial for those with neurodivergence or anyone who experiences the world in a different way. Whether you're dealing with past trauma, anxiety, depression, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, art therapy can offer a safe and supportive space for healing. Through creative outlets, we can uncover new perspectives, express feelings that may be hard to put into words, and gain insight into our personal growth.

Art Therapy is a powerful, evidence-informed approach that enhances a wide range of therapeutic modalities and mental health interventions. It is especially effective in supporting:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – Enhancing emotional processing and insight through creative expression.

Trauma-Informed Care – Providing safe, non-verbal pathways for processing trauma and building emotional regulation.

Attachment-Informed Therapy – Facilitating secure emotional connections and exploring relational patterns.

Family Therapy – Encouraging shared expression, improving communication, and fostering emotional understanding among family members.

Grief and Loss Counseling – Offering a gentle, expressive outlet for mourning and emotional healing.

Anxiety and Depression Treatment – Supporting mood regulation, self-expression, and coping strategies.

Identity and Self-Esteem Work – Helping clients explore self-image, values, and personal growth.

Neurodiversity Support (e.g., ASD, ADHD) – Enhancing communication, sensory integration, and emotional understanding in neurodiverse populations.
